TV/Movies (most discussed in previous MCW posts)
- Diane Gabaldon, Outlander (Outlander #1). Narrated by Davina Porter.
- Wow, this is a really long audiobook — 32 hours. I have two hours left.
- Poor Jamie. All that PTSD. I love it.
- I just noticed that the actor who plays Jamie in the TV series doesn't look very much like how I picture the character. His face is too pointy. And Tobias Menzies as Black Jack Randall?
- I haven't had this experience of "hey, that's the wrong look for the character" in a long time. I think I mostly don't read books before looking into their associated TV series much any more.
Music
- I first heard this song in Lucifer season 1 ep 4. I periodically play this song on repeat for an hour or two, I am not quite sure why. I mean, it's a good song, but I don't know why it hooks me like that. Content warning: N-word.
TV/Movies (most discussed in previous MCW posts)
- Blake's 7 (Britbox)
- Constantine (TV) (Amazon Prime purchase) - Thirteen-ep series featuring the DC comics character John Constantine, played cheekily by Matt Ryan. He also plays the character in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. I rewatched an ep (#3, "The Devil's Vinyl") for a fic I wrote recently.
- Homecoming (Amazon Prime)
- Lucifer (Netflix)
- Street Food Latin America (Netflix)
