They've started construction on the new San Carlos Trader Joe's. There is now an impressive pile of rubble where the Lyon's Restaurant used to be.

i am S0 beyond jealous!! our closest trader joe's is about half an hour away...maybe someday they'll stretch themselves out to one of my little neighboring burgs. it's rough livin' in the sticks, i tell ya. :)

My current TJ's is about 20 mins away. We bought a freezer so we could stock up, and we frighten the checkers monthly by going in there and buying 2-3 carts worth of stuff at a time.
