I finally found an avatar maker on line that lets you make a fat avatar - really, it includes a body shape with an adorable paunch. And, by way of being true to life, a number of the clothing options don't fit it.

That's cool that they finally have a fat avatar. But I'd still rather see a photo of the real person. :)
