I'm thinking about it, because I have to rearrange all the to-be-read books into years so I'm still reading them roughly in order, and I've decided I need a database. Too often I have to go check through a couple thousand books to find out if I've already bought a book. I'm just not sure I need a database online rather than on my computer, particularly because I'm not as worried about editions, and I'd be surprised if they have entries for SFBC editions.

it's a cult now, eh? :) i joined it way back when lifetime memberships were dirt cheap, but after my initial obsession haven't really kept up. i should get back to it; it was very handy.

I bet they would have entries for SFBC editions. It's wiki-like, so people can add any editions they want.

They have 638 books with the SFBC tag; I have 4000 books to enter, most of which are SFBC. So I would be entering most of the data by hand. I noticed some of the folks with SFBC books had put in their own cover photos, which is more work than I want. I think I'll just use a database on the laptop to start with, since the books are in the bedroom, and then transfer it to this computer for new books.
