I also wanted to tell you about my exercise this morning. So, you remember how I worked at a lower heart rate early in the year while I recovered from illness? And then in March I felt well enough to go back to my normal heart rate limit. And I've been progressing nicely at that level.

There's a cold going around, and I could feel it coming on this morning. So I went out to exercise, and I could feel my body wanted to take it easier than usual. I quickly found a slower pace and a lower heart rate that I could maintain comfortably. There was no way I was going to get that endorphin satisfaction of working hard, but I think I was at the limit of what I could do and not make it harder for my immune system to fight this bug.

And I think it was a combination of having spent that time getting (somewhat) comfortable with lower heart rate targets earlier, and my current higher levels of fitness that made it easy to find the right zone for me today.
