Until I read a little ways into it, I thought it was real. Once I saw it as a joke, I could stop holding my breath and laugh. The very sad fact is there probably is or will be something like this site.

We start weighting babies from the moment of birth and continue throughout their childhood. From a medical P.O.V., this is important data, but in this fat-phobic society, this number is also used to shame/blame first the mother and later the child if he or she is fat.

It is also used to shame/blame the mother if the child is thinner/smaller than average. "You should feed her more/less and breastfeed/supplement with formula/stop using formula" - basically whatever you're doing is wrong, and the implication is that you're deliberately starving your child.
