audible.com is fucking with me

I belong to audible.com. I went to the site without logging in and searched for The Clouds of Witness by Dorothy Sayers. I found two versions and decided to put one in my wish list. I logged in and searched for it again, and audible claimed it had no such thing.

Has anything like this happened to you?

I did the search not signed in and found it, as you did. I copied the URL, signed in, and then pasted the URL, and got this message:

We're sorry. Due to publishing rights restrictions, we are not authorized to sell this item in the country where you live.

So, weird! But possibly that's why.

It happens to me a *lot* when things are regionally released. Is it possible that the audible only has the rights for Canada or the UK or something?

What epi_lj said. I've not run into myself, but have heard of similar things, where the issue seems to be on rights related to region.
