This week's Friday Five is better than usual.
1. What does it say in the signature line of your emails?
2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?
My high school was very small and each senior got to design zir own page. Mine included the following quotes:
3. If you had vanity plates on your car, what would they read? If you already have them, what do they say?
Mine would say NODHRMA
4. Have you received any gifts with messages engraved upon them? What did the inscription say?
Can't think of anything.
5. What would you like your epitaph to be?
I don't want a grave or gravestone, so I don't want an epitaph. If I manage to make stuff that lasts in the public mind after I'm dead, that can be my epitaph for as long as it lasts. Otherwise I don't care whether I'm remembered or not.

Stef ** avid/sensible/sensual/wise/essential/elemental/tangle ** stef@cat-and-dragon.com <*> http://www.cat-and-dragon.com/stef ** and a random quote.
2. Did you have a senior quote in your high school yearbook? What was it? If you haven't graduated yet, what would you like your quote to be?
My high school was very small and each senior got to design zir own page. Mine included the following quotes:
"In that direction," the Cat said, "lives a Hatter: and in that direction lives a March hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat. "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here." -- Lewis Carroll
What matter to me if their star is a world? Mine has opened its sould to me; therefore I love it. -- Robert Browning
Shoulder the sky, my lad, and drink your ale. -- A.E. Housman
Ways will I elect
that seldom any tread
in pale evening meadows
and no dream but this--
You come too. --Rainer Maria Rilke
Love is like oxygen
You get too much you get too high
Not enough and you're gonna die
Love gets you high. -- Andy Scott/Trevor Griffin
When you are old and grey and full of sleep
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep. -- William Butler Yeats
Dream on you little girl --Andy Scott
He wants to dream like a young man
With the wisdom of an old man
He wants his home and security
He wants to live like a sailor at sea -- Bob Seger
yes is a world
& in this world of
yes live
(skillfully curled)
all worlds --e.e. cummings
O they would walk the strip at nights
And dream they saw their names in lights
On Desolation Boulevard
They'd light the faded light -- Sweet
