OK, this is a scam. I know because they sent it to the wrong email address - I'm signed up on PayPal all right, but using a different address.

They probably want to grab all my personal information so they can commit identity fraud and/or hack into my PayPal account.

Beware, folks.

Definitiely a scam. Here's who paypal-ebay.com is registered to:

Young, Justin
2780 Fairlane Avenue
68601 Columbus
US
Email: nandi@bonbon.net
Phone: +1 402 5627895

Anyone know the appropriate place to report fraud to?

These are scary (trying the link just now yielded a server not found error, btw). I got the AOL scam email which linked directly to a page that looked so much like an AOL account page it was practically identical. It asked me to completely resubmit all my credit card information.

Yeah, right. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck.

I reported it to several agencies, one of which was AOL itself. The person with whom I spoke at AOL seemed singularly unmoved. That concerned me.

Thanks. I like to think that I'd have picked up on this, but I'm not *sure*. It's a subtle one.

oh yeah, group-advice got one. :) that's pretty much a dead give-away.

however, i am reporting this one. i ignore most spam these days, except for particularly slimey scams and those who fake my name or domain. this one clearly falls under "particularly slimey".

assholes. if i am ever dictator, scam spammers go against the wall.
