Selkie: sad news

The ultrasound they did on Selkie today showed cancer in the pancreas
and lymph nodes. There is no treatment for this, and it progresses
quickly.

For the next couple of days she will be home and on steroid medicine to help
her feel more comfortable.

The vet will be making a house call on Wednesday to put her to sleep.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad you'll have a day or two to say your goodbyes properly, and to remind her how much she is loved, but still I'm sure it's hard. <hugs> offered.
