Happy inner fangirl

firecatWe just got back from seeing Sherlock Holmes and my inner fangirl is very happy right now.1
When I was around 8-12 I had a big crushes on Sherlock Holmes and on Spock, so it's been a pretty good year for my inner fangirl, in general.
(I note that when I was 8-12 I would have disapproved mightily of both the Sherlock Holmes and the Star Trek movies for being so non-canon, but happily the 48 year old IF no longer feels that way.)
1. Even though it didn't pass the Bechdel test
