I've read several articles about prophylactic mask-wearing today, and zero articles have mentioned that some people can't wear one for health reasons. I've only tested with one kind of mask so far but I have to remove it after any physical exertion to catch my breath. If there's no understanding of this or accommodation for this, then isolation for me and others with my condition is going to last longer than it does for most people. It's a good thing I don't much care about going out, I guess.

Date: 1 Jun 2020 02:27 pm (UTC)I was supposed to walk at least 30 min/day after getting out of the hospital, only with even a disposable paper type mask on, it is REALLY hard for me to physically exert myself without having at least an anxiety attack. This on top of the whacko immune deficiency syndrome. Bleah. Like you say, it's a good think I don't care much about going out and mingling.
