AO3 advice request - chapter 2 of fic has different rating than chapter 1

I wrote a short "Teen" rated fic and submitted it to a kink community. I now have a second chapter of the fic that's "Mature" shading into "Explicit." Should I post it as:

• part 2 of a series?
  
• chapter 2 of the same work?
  
• a separate fic, incorporating a copy of the original chapter?

I don't think the kink community would care either way; I'm thinking about readers who might want to have just the less explicit fic (or, heck, the more explicit one).

Personally, I'd either do a series, or do it as a related work? If you are concerned about keeping the first part accessible to someone who'd turn away from a higher rating.

When we do mostly teen or under serials/chaptered fics that have explicit sections, I'll normally list the main fic that it ties to as the related work, but in this case, just doing a series seems easiest.

I'd probably just do it as part two of a series and link them together, either through related links, or even with just a link in the summary, so it's clear they're related, but have separate ratings/tags/warnings/etc for those who need them.

I have seen it done as a separate chapter, with a note at the beginning explaining the ratings on each chapter, if they are that tightly tied to each other. If not, then the separate but related work, like a series, idea might be the easiest way to keep everything accessible.
