That's a neat visualization, but it goes by too quickly for each day and there's not enough context, unless you have an eidetic memory of the last decade, as to why those things might be the top trends.

It's certainly not a good research tool. More of an entertainment. "Aha! I remember Gangnam Style! Yeah! I remember Flappy Bird! Waah, Alan Rickman and David Bowie!..."
