-The part I really like about their story is when Psyche hasn't yet given in to her desire to see Eros. How she might shift back and forth from being fine with how things are to strongly desiring to know more about him. How she might ask him to reveal himself or give her clues and how he might respond. Maybe she has dreams in which she can see him, or in which she imagines what he might look like.

I see Hermes as a trickster god.
-Zeus or Aphrodite or some other god asks Hermes to spy on them. He changes his loyalties.
