NOTES: I love how Jane Marple knows everything that has gone on in her town for decades and has a dreadful story to cover every occasion. She must be getting some of the gossip at her salon. I also imagine her as having long hair that she is proud of, that she puts up every morning and takes down to brush every night (and gets "done" on special occasions).
