Art likes
I've opted in to art for all of my requests. I know that I like art of physical interactions between characters (struggling or cuddling or fierce or tender or sexy or smutty). Otherwise I am essentially a complete idiot about art. However, I am a fairly easy-to-please idiot.

Fandom-specific Notes & Prompts
Fandom-specific notes & prompts are entirely optional.
Argh, I bit off way more than I could chew, and ran out of time to write specific prompts for all the combinations. If you have an idea for a combination I didn't include prompts for, I'd absolutely love to see what you come up with.
If you want to write something shippy, match up any characters you want (as long as they're the equivalent of human age 15 or over). I don't have any relevant NOTPs.
I'd love art of character interactions for any of these.
2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The Expanse (fic or art)
- These space-oriented worlds could collide via the Ring gates in The Expanse.
- Crews encountering Discovery One (the ship from 2001): What would they imagine was happening or had happened? What would Data have to say to HAL 9000? Would Kirk worry it was another one of those Nomad devices? Would characters from The Expanse imagine the protomolecule was somehow at work here? Is the Monolith another protomolecule-civilization machine? Can it talk to Holden in Miller's voice? Can you see Holden walking through the weird hotel suite that Dave Bowman spends the last part of his human life in?
- Holden and the Rocinante crew enter a different part of the galaxy via the Ring and encounter the Enterprise. What would the various crew members of each ship think of each other? Who would be attracted to whom, as friends or lovers or both?
- The Enterprise time-travels and winds up in the solar system of The Expanse. What would they make of the political situation among the Inners and the Belters, Earth and Mars?
- Some of the ships I like: Expanse: Holden/Naomi, Naomi/Drummer, Amos/Chrisjen, Bobbie/Chrisjen. Star Trek TNG: Data/Barclay; Worf/Tasha Yar. 2001: Dave/HAL
- Characters I think would have interesting interactions (the "&" here doesn't necessarily mean "gen or friendship only"): Holden & Picard, Amos & Data, Amos & Worf, Amos & Tasha Yar, Tasha Yar & Bobbie, Bobbie & Riker, Chrisjen and Riker, HAL 9000 and Data, HAL 9000 and Picard, HAL 9000 and Troi
Altered Carbon (TV); Ghost in the Shell (1995), Jessica Jones (TV), The Matrix (Movies), Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - John Le Carré (fic or art)
Note: for Ghost in the Shell, I'm most familiar with the 1995 movie, but I've also seen most of the other animated stuff, except for the most recent SAC. I haven't seen the live-action movie or read the manga.
DNW: Story set in season 3 of Jessica Jones (I haven't seen it yet)
- Characters that I ship: Altered Carbon: Kovacs/Poe, Kovacs/Ortega; Ghost in the Shell: The Major/Batou; Jessica Jones: Jessica/Luke Cage, Jessica/Kilgrave (noncon).
- General idea for crossing over Altered Carbon: Everything from the Information Age is backed up in the Altered Carbon-verse in data storage facilities. Some things might only be stored in specific facilities, and not available for streaming to other places. Characters from Altered Carbon can access characters from other series that take place earlier by going to a facility and downloading a character into a virtual reality and talking to them. They can also rent the character and have them downloaded into their stack, or into an artificial sleeve.
- Altered Carbon & Ghost in the Shell
- They are both about personalities inhabiting silicon bodies, personalities with the ability to act or be acted upon in virtual worlds, personalities being uploaded to a network and downloaded into a specific container. Kristen or Kovacs could access The Major, who could give her insights on a case they're trying to solve, and on life in a world where personality is separate from body, in general. I think Kristen and the Major would be mutually attracted.
- Altered Carbon & Jessica Jones
- Kovacs and Jessica Jones would be such a great pair to team up. They are both "ruminating badass" characters. JJ could end up in the Kovacs-verse as a stack in a sleeve. She and Kovacs would absolutely hate each other at first, but who knows where it would go after that? I can also see Kristen and Jessica complaining to each other about their families.
- Altered Carbon & The Matrix
- Maybe Kovacs and Neo take on Agent Smith. I think Kovacs and Trinity would have interesting interactions. I'm imagining the three of them teaming up on something and then Kovacs and Trinity discussing Neo behind his back.
- Altered Carbon & Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; Jessica Jones & Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
- In Le Carré's books we don't get deeply inside Smiley's head. It would be fun to make that happen via his trying to mentor Kovacs or Jessica, teaching them his "figuring out stuff by lurking and seeming unthreatening" tricks. Kovacs might complain to Smiley about Miriam Bancroft, and Smiley might compare her to his wife.
- Ghost in the Shell & Jessica Jones
- I can see them meeting in either world. Jessica would be fascinated by the Major (although she'd pretend to be unimpressed at first) and could stand to learn some things from her about patience. Batou would be fascinated by Jessica ("so self-destructive! why?") and the Major would tell him to go for it. Jessica would appreciate the opportunity to fuck someone who could take that much damage.
- Ghost in the Shell & The Matrix
- They both explore the weirdness of virtual worlds and human minds and memories on the one hand, and the real world on the other. (Ghost-hacking, in GitS, and human minds in a virtual reality, in TM.
- I'd like to see Chief Aramaki and Morpheus interact.
- Jessica Jones & The Matrix
- Jessica/Trinity. Nuff 'said.
- The Matrix & Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
- I imagine Smiley wandering around inside the Matrix having figured out that it's virtual but not sure what to do about that yet. Maybe sometimes he tests the boundaries of it. Maybe he has glancing interactions with Neo or Trinity or other characters where he tries to nudge them in the right direction (the good guys) or the wrong direction (the Agent Smiths)
American Gods (TV), Ancient Greek Religion & Lore, Babylon 5, Columbo, Constantine (TV), Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, Lucifer (TV), The Sandman (Comics), Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle, Torchwood (fic or art)
- Characters I ship: Shadow Moon/Czernobog, Laura/Mad Sweeney, Bast/Bilquis; Odysseus/anybody, Dionysus/anybody; G'kar/Londo; John Constantine/anybody; Crowley/Aziraphale; Lucifer/anybody, Desire/anybody; Holmes/Watson, Holmes/Mycroft[/Watson]; Jack Harkness/anybody
- Some characters I think would have interesting interactions:
- Mr Wednesday with any number of Greek gods, G'Kar, Londo, Morden, Vir, Delenn & Lennier, Columbo (they look alike but they are otherwise so far from being alike!), Manny, Constantine, Crowley, Lucifer Morningstar, Sherlock Holmes, Jack Harkness;
- Columbo with Garibaldi, Constantine, Dan Espinoza, Sherlock Holmes & John Watson, Jack Harkness, Owen Harper;
- John Constantine or Manny with Crowley, Lucifer Morningstar, Mazikeen, Jack Harkness;
- Aziraphale and Crowley with Lucifer Morningstar or any of the other angels, having a double-date with Holmes & Watson, Jack Harkness;
- Morpheus (Dream) with related Greek gods
The Aristocats, Neko Atsume, Calvin & Hobbes, Good Omens, Star Trek: TNG, Innkeeper Chronicles, Pinky & the Brain, Red Dwarf, Thursday Next, Umbrella Academy (fic or art)
- I put these together because the canons are humorous and/or silly, and/or have room for humorous and/or silly scenes within them. I'd love for one of the talking (or lying around on expensive furniture, in the case of Neko Atsume) animal canons to show up in Good Omens, Star Trek, Red Dwarf, or Umbrella Academy. I'd love a talking animal convention set within the Innkeeper Chronicles. Or the dodos from Thursday Next encountering other animals, or the animals being set loose in the Thursday Next library. Calvin & Hobbes might have interesting interactions (Calvinball?) with Adam Young and his gang and Dog from Good Omens. Klaus from UA might like jamming with the jazz cats ensemble from The Aristocats.
- Ships I like: Duchess/Thomas O'Malley; Crowley/Aziraphale; Data/Barclay, Worf/Tasha Yar; Dina Demille/Sean Evans; Pinky/The Brain; The Cat/anybody; Klaus Hargreeves/anybody
- Some characters who could have interesting interactions: Thomas O'Malley & Hobbes, Thomas O'Malley & Pinky, Thomas O'Malley & The Cat, Duchess & Aziraphale; Calvin & Crowley, Calvin & Lister, Hobbes & Pinky
Marvel Cinematic Universe, Babylon 5, Constantine (TV), Lucifer (TV), Torchwood (fic or art)
- The nickname I gave this set is "badboys" because I like thinking about interactions among the morally gray and/or potentially slutty male characters in all of these fandoms.
- In Marvel I'm particular to Loki, but open to whichever character(s) are your favorites.
- In Babylon 5, G'kar has something of a playboy reputation, and at least in the early episodes is far from a shining beacon of morality. I can see Londo in this role as well (bonus tentacles!).
- John Constantine, Lucifer Morningstar, and Jack Harkness could be running a gigolo service together...
Babylon 5, Columbo, Dark City (1998), The Expanse (TV), The Prisoner (1967) (fic or art)
- One idea I have for this group is for Columbo to show up in one of the other worlds helping to solve a crime. I think he'd have an interesting relationship with Garibaldi of Babylon 5, or Frank Bumsead of Dark City, or Miller of The Expanse. What if he worked for Number Six to help him figure out who Number One is?
- In The Expanse, the crew of some ship could come across this crazy city floating in space surrounded by an ocean.
- Dark City and The Prisoner both have a sense of unreality about them—maybe The Village is an area in the city, or the city is a prison/interrogation center for spies like The Village.
- Maybe Number Six comes to Babylon 5 convinced he has tracked Number One there. (Could Number One be a Vorlon?)
Bridgerton (TV), Ancient Greek Religion & Lore, Columbo, Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, Lucifer (TV), Miss Marple - Agatha Christie (fic or art)
- I can imagine the characters in Bridgerton being very excited by one of the beautiful Greek gods or Lucifer Morningstar showing up in town. What would Lady Whistledown have to say about that? Aziraphale and Crowley would have them all a-twitter too, I bet.
- I would love to see Aziraphale and Crowley play havoc in Ancient Greek mythology. Maybe having some kind of game of wits with Odysseus. What if Columbo is another angel (he plays one in Wings of Desire) and the three of them pal around together?
- Miss Marple could show up to help the Bridgerton characters track down Lady Whistledown, or she could swap notes with Columbo (they both have it going for them that people misunderstand and underestimate them). And for whatever reason I can see Lucifer Morningstar really liking her (not in a shippy way...although you're welcome to convince me otherwise), or perhaps Chloe & Lucifer track a murderer to St Mary Mead and she helps them.
- I'd really enjoy seeing Lucifer Morningstar on a date with Crowley and Aziraphale, set any time in history. (Or Lucifer could bring someone and it could be a double date.)
Constantine (TV), James Bond (Craig movies), Jessica Jones (TV) (fic or art)
- DNW: Story set in season 3 of Jessica Jones (I haven't seen it yet)
- I call this grouping "spies". I can see John Constantine and/or Jessica Jones having to work with Bond and them all being completely unimpressed and annoyed by each other (Bond's professional and class snobbery would certainly be especially irritating to the other two). I wonder whether Constantine, with his demonology skills, would know a way to become immune to Kilgrave's powers, and maybe he could teach Jessica how to turn the tables on Kilgrave.
- I ship any and all of them, in a "you annoy me so much that I have to fuck you" way.
Moby Dick - Herman Melville, American Gods (TV), Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett, Jessica Jones (TV), Star Trek: The Original Series, Torchwood (fic or art)
- Mr Wednesday has a talk with Poseidon about what's going on with Moby Dick and the Pequod
- Crowley and Aziraphale are making mischief on the Pequod
- Jessica Jones is the captain of the Pequod.
- Khan from Star Trek is Ahab. There are big hints about their similarities in The Wrath of Khan, but that movie wasn't in the tag set for this exchange. I'd still enjoy a story that explores their similarities, set within the ST:TOS framework, or a story that brings Khan into the world of Moby Dick.
- And OK this is kinda cracky, but—Cap'n Jack Harkness gets swallowed by Moby Dick.
- For non-Moby Dick combinations:
- I'd love Crowley and Aziraphale to gum up the works in American Gods. Crowley knows enough about technology that he could really wreak havoc with the New Gods' plans.
- I imagine Jessica Jones and Shadow Moon would have some things to talk about. Or Jessica Jones and Ianto Jones from Torchwood. Now there's a snarkfest waiting to happen.
- Can you imagine Captain Kirk and Jack Harkness trying to get along? Or McCoy complaining about this patient they rescued from somewhere who will not sit still to be treated—except, whoa, he just came back to life! Maybe he can be the one to help them fix their leaky dilithium crystals next time.
