Um, I guess I'm missing something. I don't see anything about librarians on those pages.

Well, Giles, Buffy's Watcher, is a librarian.

And Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, who, after the Joker shot her in the spine leaving her confined to a wheelchair, became Oracle, has an MLIS, which, as Oracle, she uses to fight crime.

They're superhero librarians. There's a list somewhere of Superhero Librarians. Dunno where; I'm not a librarian.
