I broke down and joined friendster.

It's not letting me upload a photo. The photo policy says "no animals." Maybe that's the problem. Last I checked, I was an animal.

laughter... Try again when I created mine I had problems also... I did get a picture uploaded fininly I haven't figure out what to use Friendster for yet however.. so it sits there and i check it once in awhile. dancingstar@kittymail is the email address attached to it.

I keep checking into alt.poly, and the way everyone posts makes my head explode. I just haven't found a place to jump into the conversation yet. It also feels like most people who post there know each other, and have known each other for quite some time.

I'm on Friendster now, but the site hasn't been working the last few times I tried to log-in.

yeah. my housemate-who-is-an-animal signed up early on and at first they allowed her picture. Recently they either noticed, or changed their policy, and now it's been removed.

she's sad.

me, I'm still trying to work up the intestinal fortitude to make it through the intrusive questions on the first page of their sign-up process...why do they care what wabbly bits live in my pants? This attitude is definitely hypocritical on my part since what first convinced me to try signing up was the discovery that a number of my more sexually-ambiguous friends have actually gone as far as to admit to their sexual orientation in their friendster profiles...and I'm curious.
