My progress on the springwrite challenge (150,000 words between January 1 and April 30, 2009). I tried doing this post-dated but even though I told LJ it was postdated it is complaining every time I try to post a new entry, so now you get it in the regular feed, but probably only once a week or so.

In which firecat is entertained

I had no idea there was such a thing as Tolkien-themed heavy metal (a few references by Led Zeppelin notwithstanding), never mind that there were multiple bands devoted to it. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised...
