I seem to have a workable plot at this point, at least. Maybe.

I haven't done a lot of fiction writing. I do know that so far I haven't been able to outline in detail when I'm writing fiction (although when I write non-fiction, outlining in detail is really easy). My stories tend to shift under me as I'm writing. Most of the cool ideas sneak in when I'm not looking. I wish I had a better sense for when/if the plot is going to stop shifting.

Well, I guess that's what this practicing stuff is for.
