Master and Margarita
You're Mikhail Bulgakov's Master and
Margarita
. You are a thinly veiled
allegory. Or, you're the devil, or someone
who is easily fooled. Or you are the regime.
Or, you're a cat. You are confusing to the
untrained eye, you little dissenter, you.

To which work of fiction on my shelf are you most similar?

Aaaaaaa ... I was reading something a while back that was raving about that book, and now I can't recall a single detail of who or where ... it's always annoying when that happens!

It's an amusing fantasy with Satan in it. I read it 30 years ago and don't remember it terribly well.

It was available through the Science Fiction Book Club for a surprisingly long time. And it was a big influence on Alan Moore; the opening scene of Swamp Thing #25 is a direct homage to the opening of the Bulgakov.

Pontius Pilate is another one of the major characters.

Casey read it in college and liked it; want me to check and see if he still has his copy?
