Yes.

4 or 5 years or so.

On alt.polyamory, in 1998 or early 1999.

That you were articulate and left-brained.

Yes, among other things.

I wouldn't presume to say. I do know that social things cause anxiety for you, and I wish I could fix that for you.

I have no idea.

09. What makes me happy?
Kitties. Smart humor. Anime. Beads.

10. What makes me sad?
Loss.

Folk art; movies we've seen together; Rumi.

Wow, hard one. Some good qualities of yours are your compassion and your ability to put words to difficult concepts.

Not as well as I'd like to.

Five days ago.

Yes, but I got over it.

Could? I guess so. Would? Probably not.

Someone smarter and more understated than any movie star I can think of.

Gray with a tint of lavendar.

I think it gets slowly stronger as we nourish it.

01. Your nickname is "See-thru Serene," because of your taste in clothing and your habit of seeming to wear your heart on your sleeve. (I wouldn't ever actually call you that, though. And I don't think you really wear your whole heart on your sleeve.)

02. I think you are lovable, and a great many people seem to agree with me.

03. I've known you 4 or 5 years or so.

04. We first met on alt.polyamory, in 1998 or early 1999.

05. My first impression of you [*I'm embarrassed by this*] was: young silly left-PC type.

06. I don't think that way about you now. I see why I got that impression, but the qualities that let me form that impression are now part of a much more wonderfully complex landscape.

07. Your weakness, IMO, is giving other people too much slack, but it's also a strength, and I see you working on the ways in which it causes you trouble, which is very cool to see.

08. I don't think you'll ever get married, although it's not out of the question if same-sex marriage becomes legal and/or if you or a partner needed a marriage perk such as health insurance.

09. What makes you happy is loving and being loved, and feeling surrounded by family, and being creative.

10. What makes you sad is loss, and not being able to reach a comfortable emotional space with a loved one.

11. A couple of things that remind me of you are the rubber "wombat" and the barrette that I have of yours that I keep forgetting to give back to you.

12. Your best quality is your willingness to think for yourself, and the results.

13. I think I know your online personality very well and your in-person-friend personality middling well and the deeper bits only a little.
