On New Year's Eve

The OH had a fever and went to bed at 9:30 pm.

I stayed up working on a beading project and noticed that midnight had come by the shouts outside. After trying to start the project several times, I discovered that the instructions were wrong.

I trust this is not indicative of 2004.

i started out 2003 by vomiting. it only got better from there. i hope the same will be true for you, this year.

Hope not. But apropos of that, a webboard I'm on is having a discussion of that superstition. Several of them cleaned their houses last night so they wouldn't be messy all year. *grin*
