Public Service Announcement

Pasta Moon, an excellent Italian restaurant in Half Moon Bay, is donating a portion of its proceeds from lunch and dinner today and tomorrow (April 20th and 21st) to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA! Festivities include a raffle (you get one free ticket for every animal-themed article of clothing or accessory you're wearing). Adoptable shelter animals will be there on April 21st. Not only a good cause, but a terrific restaurant. It has always been one of my favorite "getaway" destinations for a moderately-splurge-y weekend meal.

I can't go today, and I'd better not go tomorrow, if the animals are going to be there. :( I have to love animals from afar, as anyone who reads my journal probably knows by now.
