I recently ordered some business cards, and I guess I got on a mailing list. I got a pen in the mail with my name and address printed on it, and a letter including this copy:
The business world is a jungle and what's the first law of the jungle? That's right, it's survival of the fittest. There is no help out there when things get tough.
So my suggestion to you is this. Even if business is good, don't get too comfortable. Buy some "customer loyalty insurance" and invest in an order of the [Brandname] pens.
One of the sample designs shown is for "Valhalla Visitor Center".

My first question to anyone giving me a marketing gewgaw to promote their business is "Do you give your own employees these?" I make it a point to try not to buy from people who don't spend money on internal customer loyalty insurance.

Someone's got a bad name for a business, or a good sense of humor.

My immediate thought was "Visitor center? There's nothing there but the cemetery."

There is a town in Westchester, New York (half an hour or so north of the New York City line) called Valhalla; it has a commuter railroad stop; as far as I can tell, there is, in fact, nothing there but a cemetery and, presumably, a few houses.
