tell me something good?

I'm feeling discouraged right now after reading a whole lot of bad news, which you probably already know about. If you feel like it, tell me about something good in your world.

Some good in my world:
I have enjoyable work.
I have two wonderful healthy cats.
I love and am loved. By the same people for the most part even.
My health problems aren't bothering me today.
I had a good education and I put it to good use.
I know a bunch of smart, compassionate, involved people.

Today was a gorgeous early fall day -- bright blue sky, warm temperature, red and yellow leaves becoming more and more prominent among the green. Near my driveway are lots of small purple-white flowers with a very pleasant aroma and lots of bumblebees.

This morning arriving at work I saw a piece of orange leaf stuck to the wall of the building. Wondering how it got there, I took a closer look and found that it had legs and a pair of feathery antennae. It was a moth quite masterfully disguised as a leaf; if not for its improbable adhesion to the wall, I could not have told it from an actual leaf. I wish I had had my camera with me.

Even at times of stress and trouble, I am continually amazed by nature and its wonders.
