tell me something good?

I'm feeling discouraged right now after reading a whole lot of bad news, which you probably already know about. If you feel like it, tell me about something good in your world.

Some good in my world:
I have enjoyable work.
I have two wonderful healthy cats.
I love and am loved. By the same people for the most part even.
My health problems aren't bothering me today.
I had a good education and I put it to good use.
I know a bunch of smart, compassionate, involved people.

It's autumn in New England and the trees are turning and look beautiful. It lowers my blood pressure just to see them.

My husband just told me he has too many ideas for holiday presents for me, and I need to misbehave so he won't feel like he should get them all. This makes me smile.

Live journal reminds me that the world is full of interesting, intelligent, cool people. I'm glad I've gotten the chance to get to know so many of them.
