tell me something good?
4 Oct 2006 02:53 pmI'm feeling discouraged right now after reading a whole lot of bad news, which you probably already know about. If you feel like it, tell me about something good in your world.
Some good in my world:
I have enjoyable work.
I have two wonderful healthy cats.
I love and am loved. By the same people for the most part even.
My health problems aren't bothering me today.
I had a good education and I put it to good use.
I know a bunch of smart, compassionate, involved people.

Date: 5 Oct 2006 06:26 am (UTC)i had a great time in montreal, hanging out with jo and family.
the paramour did all sorts of little spiffy things while i was gone, not to mention the pornographic posing of the jellybean cow and the cuddle cow on top of the telly.
my package from montreal came today. even though i knew what was in it (because i had mailed it to myself), it felt a little bit like a gift to unpack.
i feel a lot of pride of association for the *poing* right now, who is ending a long chapter of zir life, and doing it very well, IMO.
bang! who has become semi-feral again because we have too many cats, and who's been staying away from the house and not letting the paramour pet him, saw me for the first time since i got back home this morning, from across the lawn, and came trotting straight to me miaowing loudly every few steps, and flopped down in front of me so i could pet him. made me tear up a little.
i finished a gift for a friend who is in pain. and i went to our brandnew LUSH store to get some bath goodies for her as well. i couldn't actually care less about LUSH myself, but it is so handy to have one here for gift acquisition, since half my flist is addicted. now they just need to open a BPAL outlet...
somebody i've been worrying about a lot is starting to recover from a serious meltdown.
i have ginger beer.
i know a bunch of smart, compassionate, involved people, and you're one of them.
