My friend xp85goblin and I have noticed that we both tend to have days of slothful, whiny, or otherwise immature behavior followed by very productive days.

Do you suppose there is a Law of Conservation of Maturity?

It would explain a hell of a lot. Now if I could only sustain the disgust long enough to get an entire day of productivity out of it....

For me, some of the productivity is due to "disgust" but some of it seems to be due to actually feeling like being productive -- as if the whiny slothful immaturity is some kind of poison I have to clear out of my system before I can do anything.

Which would make sense if I had a stressful life, but I don't particularly.
