Date: 23 Aug 2007 10:38 pm (UTC)I find myself wondering if the negative reactions some people seem to have to public knitting would be as negative if the people knitting were men. Can't quite see them taking on Rosey Grier, the football player who was an avid needlepointer as well as one of the men who tackled Sirhan Sirhan after he shot RFK, in quite the same way.
