I find myself in possession of a mystery GM seat belt extender. The only thing I know about it is that it does *not* work with the 2003 Chevy Malibu. There is a code stamped on the buckle that might be a part number, but typing that into any of the GM auto parts web sites I was able to find did not produce any results.

Any ideas how to find out which car it belongs to? It's not important, but if I can find out I can give it away instead of cluttering up the landfill with it. ETA: Auto part has found a new home!

I use seat belt extenders and have about 4 or 5 of them. If you don't want it, I can use it. Sometimes the belts fit many different cars. In fact, one of my Ford belts, fit a Chevy. And my Ford belt doesn't fit all Fords. It fits my Focus and the Escort my son used to have, but doesn't fit our Ranger. Go figure.
