Trying another sort of writing challenge

I have signed up for springwrite, which is an LJ community that supports and challenges you to write 150,000 words (of anything) in four months (1,250 words per day). The group is planning to have various prizes, prompts, word count reporting, and technique posts to keep the writers motivated.

This is a continuation of a project that started with summerwrite and autumnwrite. I've been watching autumnwrite for a while and I'm really impressed by their energy.

Who's with me? Signups close on December 31, the writing period is January 1 through April 30.

Its early and I haven't had my tea yet so perhaps I shouldn't be making such rash decisions but... I'm with you! I've been looking for an excuse since NaNo 2005, but November is such a crazy month for me I haven't felt like doing another NaNo.
