I love the idea that there is a building called the Sambadrome--for some reason, that tickles me.

A few years ago, the travel channel had the samba parade from Rio de janeiro. I was absolutely fascinated by the colors, the pageantry, the costumes, the bodies. The speed of the dancing and the age (very,very young) of some of the dancers was fascinating. But in a snake & mongoose type of way.
