I got the call from the hospice nurse around 6:30. Dad and I went over for a final goodbye. Mom looked as if she had died peacefully.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how much of yourself you've put into caring about your parents, and I suspect this will hit you hard for quite a while. I will be trying to send you positive thoughts.
