I got the call from the hospice nurse around 6:30. Dad and I went over for a final goodbye. Mom looked as if she had died peacefully.

The passing of one's mother is life-changing... she has been your teacher and will go on teaching you, even though her struggle has found peace. Parts of her ways of being are very alive in you. There's still a long way to go with this. Know that your friends who understand are always available to you and love you. Wishing understanding and closeness for you and your father in these difficult days.
