Did any books or music kick-start you into puberty? Did anything else?

I felt it meant that I was no longer a child and was not allowed to read any children's books any more.

WHAT?!?!?! If any adults gave you that idea, I would like to find them and rip out their eyeballs.

My periods started a year or two before I began to recognize sexual feelings, and when I say "kick-started into puberty," I mean the latter.
