What to do with the money you earmarked for Protestants

So if you think being queer is OK, and you were planning to give some money to the Salvation Army, you might not want to, because they think homosexuality is a curable sin.

But you could give the money to the Presbyterian Church instead:

(I was raised Presbyterian, and I was already out of the church before they even began to think about ordaining gay people. I'm glad they finally got around to it.)

D: I wish I knew this about the Salvation Army before last Wednesday. But it's also hard to resist buying cheap un-used cross stitch kits that would cost so much more new and for my mom to find fabric at a lower price for her quilt-making. D:

(Granted, some of the quilt fabric is going to be put into quilts my mom will donate to kids in hospitals and such, but doesn't really make up for the homophobia of the Salvation Army.)

I think there's something beautifully transformative about that, though.

The rest that aren't going to be in the kid's quilts will be added to my mother's probably significantly large quilt fabric stash. And the kits have basically been added to my cross stitch kit stash.

It's hard not to create a stash of things when you love crafting. ^^;
