DVD collection update

We recounted. It's actually closer to 200. There are also maybe 20 videotapes.

It's hard to know what to do with TV shows. It's one thing to count a single season of a TV show as 1, but harder to count 12" worth of Monty Python or The Prisoner as 1.

That sounds more like what I'd have guessed. I'm still wondering about the argument - who thought it was huge/tiny :-).

The OH thought our collection was large, I thought it was small-to-medium, in comparison with other middle-class US geeks.

It doesn't sound all that large for financially comfortable geeks, no ;-).

Ah. Well, at 100, the poll supports small-to-medium. But at 200, while I think I would have still answered "medium" it would have been with the thought that it was on the large side of medium.

TV shows: the two reasonable options seem to be (1) a box *or slipcase within a boxed set* is one, or 2) a disk is one. I'd go with the former as I think this as more of a space issue, but I can see arguments for the latter.
