I posted this to my G+ stream and profile:

Now officially lurking on G+

I'm disgusted by the G+ names policy. I have hope that they will be forced to change it (it's clear they won't change it on their own) so I'm not going to leave just yet, and I may follow my stream, but I'm not going to participate much. You can find me on Dreamwidth.

I've started posting stuff; not stuff I deeply care about, but perhaps the kind of stuff that might lead someone to notice my name isn't real...

I think I know which G+ is yours but I'm not sure...

It's the one with an abbreviation of my current residence instead of my last name. Most people I know, know I live in vermont...

I think I'd hop in G+ train if they were less stubborn about the name policy, but for now I'll just frown at from distance. I'm still a little curious about it though.. a friend described it to me as Facebook, LJ and Tumblr put together, which does sound a little tempting to me.
