Marty Magic is one of my favorite jewelry artists. I have her snake earcuff, discussed in this article, which has been copied by Urban Outfitters. I've had the cuff for at least 10 years.

AGAIN?! They just got nailed for doing this less than a month ago.

On regretsy it seems they get nailed for it at least once a week.

They seem to get most of their products by ripping off independent artists, and there seems little the artists can do about it.

I almost don't want to even offer my stuff up for sale. Seems like a lot of work to not make much money and only to have my ideas stolen if they're good.

Yeah, artists aren't very highly respected unless they've made it to the tippy-top.

I am also a big fan of Marty Magic and, in fact, have the same ear cuff, which I bought from her at a crafts show about 12 or so years ago. Shame on Urban Outfitters for encouraging plagiarism.
