Sorry. Pulling for the Orioles to go all the way over here. Not that I'm paying close attention this year.

Hey, there's a possibility of a repeat of '89. Make sure everything gets properly seismically braced. Let's go Oak-land, let's go Gi-ants! (but in any transbay conflict, I go with my birthplace, Oakland).

Fourth generation Oaklander here. The ghosts of my ancestors will not let me sleep if I cheered for SF over Oakland. SF over everybody *else* is a non-problem. Went to the Coliseum tonight to watch the A's put some prime 510 style smackdown on Texas.

Any World Series involving the Giants is A-OK by me. :)

If the unthinkable happens, though, I hope they get bounced by the Nationals, because how awesome would it be for that team to finally get a World Series win?

I've Ohio colleagues who are pleased with Detroit's opportunity, so i think it might make for some Fun At Work. Always a nice thing.

I'm rooting for either the Orioles or the Nationals (born in Washington, and my Boston folk have been... something else, this year), but I wouldn't at all object to the Tigers/Giants. Good bunch. Really, I'm actually for "whoever beats the Yankees."

That's be cool. Although, I have to admit that the prospect of a Giants/Orioles series amuses me, as the teams have the same official team colors. Orange and Black, and the Series could be decided on Halloween.
