I got a 5 star Magpie from elisem as part of botmo year 11. The theme I picked was "focals and earring pairs." Elise included a card saying "I got a little carried away." I say OOH SO MUCH SHINY.

Many fabulous items. I'm particularly struck by the flat bicone white-and-purple swirl ?lampwork in the lower right, and the loosely trapezoidal Grand Canyon slice in the middle left. Won't you have fun!

The package included a couple of goodies from my private stash that I've been mulling over for a few years, trying to decide what to do with, and suddenly coming to the realization that what I should do with them is give them to someone who will make something glorious out of them. :-)

Particularly the purple/white swirled focal, which I love very much but haven't figured out how to use. (If I put in pieces like this one, which was given me by the artist some years ago, they're not included in the magpie purchase; they're sharing from one crafter to another of a piece that's too nifty to sit neglected on my workbench, a piece that should be out in the world having fun making people happy.)
