The OH and I just finished the first season of How to Get Away With Murder. I'm glad I watched it, and I like the acting and the cast diversity, but it was sort of surfing the edge of what kind of TV I like best (too much of the drama generated by lies and stupidity). Based on that, do you think I should I watch the next season?

Yes. Not my thing at all, but I'm suitably obsessed.

The second season builds on the drama and the story arc of the first season. The Scooby squad is still emotionally/metaphorically blackmailing one another and everyone is making bad choices because they're under 24/7 duress because yeah, lies and that same churn of emotions always riding the fine edge.

No, too much of the drama is definitely generated by lies and stupidity and general FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE. Bad choices theater!

I still like it but I get attached to characters and don't stop watching even when shows go bad for a long time.
