Not a very good start to the day. The toilet overflowed and there were ants in the laundry room and kitchen.
OH and I watched Blow Dry. I ordered it because it stars Alan Rickman, but it turned out to be quite a good movie, with a subtle poly theme.
(Or if you prefer the irrepressible fangirl review: "I want Alan Rickman to shave my head while a stocky Yorkshireman with a rockabilly hairdo and glitter jacket performs Elvis songs in the background! [pant, drool]")
Wednesday
Therapy at 7:30 am, then a meeting at the company I'm contracting for, in which I learned that my deadline is extended two weeks. Yay!

kyubi and I met in SF and tried to see Bride With White Hair but it turned out the listing I saw on the SFGate web site was wrong and that movie wasn't playing after all. So we consoled ourselves with pizza at one of those generic "Italian restaurant run by Asian staff" places that are all over the Richmond district and a visit to Simple Pleasures Cafe. There was live music playing, and a guy with a gorgeous smile carrying the can around asking for contributions for the musicians. A woman with a Pekingese sat at our table and ate a chocolate macaroon right in the dog's face. But the dog seemed good-natured about it. In fact, the dog never stopped smiling the whole time we were there.
Tuesday
Spent the day chained to my computer, alternately working on my writing project, reading alt.poly and filling out mindless quizzes on LiveJournal. Got a surprise Andy Scott related CD from E (my roommate in Devizes...which reminds me, I should post my trip report here).
