10 lines in the sand

Inspired by the "10 (or so) rules" meme, last seen in rjmwell's journal. But I would consider these reminders rather than rules.

1. Don't do rules.
2. There's more than one kind of intelligence.
3. No armchair psychoanalyzing.
4. Don't forget your orgasms.
5. This too shall pass.
6. Conformity is overrated. Nonconformity is even more overrated.
7. There's more than one way to look at it, and the views are worth it.
8. Say no and mean it. Say yes and mean it.
9. Do what you love.
10. You never really know what you're going to do next.

Yeah, I think #9 is the most important, and the others are more or less in service of it.
