A vacation

firecatThe OH and I went to Babbling Brook Inn in Santa Cruz for an early anniversary (5th/11th) celebration.

We visited Firecat Pottery (thanks![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pyrzqxql!). The artist/owner was tickled to find out that her gallery was being discussed on LiveJournal, and she told me that her tuxedo cat cookie jar showed up on Google Images if you searched for "cat cookie jar" (which it does, on the second page of results).
We also visited a tea house, a restaurant that had a fabulous cheese plate (really good artisanal cheese seem to function something like a BDSM scene for me, in terms of generating lasting endorphins), and a restaurant whose owner cares a lot about the campaign to get the British to return the Parthenon (Elgin) Marbles to Greece.
