NaNoWriMo Progress Meter

Originally when I started writing, I gave myself a goal of 2K words a day. If I kept to it, I would finish in 25 days instead of 30. I've already mostly eaten up the 5 days of slack. I need to write an average of almost 1800 words a day to finish on time.

That's OK, though.

I discovered some cool stuff doing research via Google for the novel: Japanese puzzle boxes

Neither can I. I may... just possibly... know 50,000 words' worth of something. But I'd get awfully bored writing it.

(Google to the rescue again this evening, in fact. Apparently my main character's husband is a model railroad enthusiast. I needed magazine titles, jargon...)
