Busyness, Sadness & Happiness

busyness: Not having time to update my journal or even read my favorite Usenet newsgroup.

sadness: I changed my LJ picture because yet another wonderful animal shelter kitty didn't make it. I named her Alice.

happiness: I got a beautiful card from duskybeans... a picture of the BC provicial building with a totem pole in the foreground, and a whole letter inside, and SPARKLY YIN YANG STICKERS!

I spent some time reading your website tonight. I have to say - it brought tears to my eyes to see all those cats :(( I absolutely adore cats... and I can't stand to think of them being put down..... I'm so glad that you cuddle them and give them some joy and let them know someone cares ... i'm sad to say I coudln't do it - I would find it too upsetting.. I got my cat from the scpca - and I didn't get out of their without crying - I wanted to take all of them home :(((

I'm very sad too that some cats don't find new homes. Fortunately, most of them do -- as the volunteer coordinator said to me when I started, "there are more good days than bad days."

I always want to take all of them home.
