I recently bought myself a little Japanese cast-iron teapot (tetsubin) with a mesh strainer. I want to brew loose-leaf tea in it. Do you know a source for good loose-leaf tea on the web? What brands do you especially like?

I especially like strong black tea that can stand up to milk, and toasted rice tea.

Goodness, that is cheap! English Breakfast, for $6.20 a pound?? Am I reading that right?

Wow, I'm going to order some from them just to see how it is. I've been buying English Breakfast at a local store for $1.20 an ounce. It's quite decent, but it's not even organic. (Not that I expect this stuff to be organic at those prices, though. Do they offer organic teas? I didn't see anything about that on the site, but then I didn't spend much time there.)

Organic tea at SF Herb Co.

I just searched for the word "organic" on that site, and only one entry came up. And it was non-certified organic, at that. Oh, well.
