loose-leaf tea
11 Jan 2008 01:18 pmI recently bought myself a little Japanese cast-iron teapot (tetsubin) with a mesh strainer. I want to brew loose-leaf tea in it. Do you know a source for good loose-leaf tea on the web? What brands do you especially like?
I especially like strong black tea that can stand up to milk, and toasted rice tea.

Date: 12 Jan 2008 01:50 am (UTC)Wow, I'm going to order some from them just to see how it is. I've been buying English Breakfast at a local store for $1.20 an ounce. It's quite decent, but it's not even organic. (Not that I expect this stuff to be organic at those prices, though. Do they offer organic teas? I didn't see anything about that on the site, but then I didn't spend much time there.)
